Meet the Editor
One of Britain's best-known motoring writers, DAVE CULSHAW, a Hindley resident of more than forty years, wrote his first book when still in the Sixth Form at Wigan Grammar School. Three other very substantial books followed, plus many magazine contributions, and innumerable booklets.
Educated at W.G.S. and Loughborough College, Dave has a firm background in engineering, trade unionism, teaching and even the occasional cartooning. In 2009 he was awarded the Honorary Degree of Bachelor of Science by Loughborough University, for his studies.
Since retiring (??), he has helped a number of local Residents Groups on a variety of issues, designing leaflets to support their cases. He has also been a vocal supporter of UNISON Trade Union Members whenever erosion of their Conditions of Service have been threatened by Wigan's Labour Group.
If you, as a reader are aware of some Council blunder or consider that your Council Tax have been wasted in some way, then please feel free to contact the Editor of THE HIND QUARTERLY. Dave can be reached on 01942 254220.
GO ON, MAKE HIS DAY!
